How about both? @obsessive-dumpling “We’re not just friends and you fucking know it.” +“What if I told you I’ve been in love with you since we were kids.”
“What’s going on?” Todoroki asked Kirishima. He’d just walked into the common room to see Midoriya and Bakugou fighting again.
“I don’t wanna argue anymore Kacchan! Just leave me alone!” Midoriya turned in a huff and started to walk away.
Ignoring the fighters, “oh, the usual,” Kirishima held up a bowl of popcorn to Todoroki to share. “Better than a k-drama.”
Todoroki shrugged and sat down next to his friend to partake in the show. “Oh—” he remarked as he grabbed his first handful of popcorn. “This is different.”
“Yeah, I saw it on YouTube. Pretty good huh?”
“Mmhmm,” Todoroki nodded as he chewed. “Never thought to throw furikake and arare in before.”
Neither man seemed to care what started the latest argument, because this was a common occurrence. Whether it was over a workout regimen or what to eat for dinner, their friends often bickered over who was right. And they’d keep going too, hence the amount of time allowed to make a snack for the show.
“Oi!” Bakugou grabbed Midoriya by the shoulder and spun him back around. “DON’T YOU WALK AWAY FROM ME! You better tell me what the hell is bothering you now!”
“NOTHING!” Midoriya spat back and smacked the man’s hand from his shoulder. “It’s nothing!”
“Not, nothing! All I did was talk to chubby cheeks and you ran off in a huff!”
“I did not! I-I just didn’t wanna feel like a third-wheel!”
“What the fuck are you talking about? Third-wheel bullshit, you act like I was flirting with her or something!”
Midoriya’s cheeks flared red. “N-No!”
Bakugou sneered. “Are you jealous?”
“WHAT! NO!”
These fights had been escalating lately. Everyone in the dorms had noticed the trend and theories were thrown around as to its cause. The two men were so engrossed in their fighting, they never even noticed Kirishima and Todoroki on the couch.
“10 bucks says Izuku’s gonna say it first,” Kirishima wagered. “He’s about to crack.”
Todoroki shook his head. “Nah, I think it’ll be Katsuki.”
Bakugou crossed his arms. “Then what is it, cause ya ain’t leaving till you come clean!”
Midoriya sighed, exhausted from the fighting. “I’m not jealous, I just left cause you were busy.”
“Do I look like an idiot? You think I can’t tell when you’re upset?!”
“Why are you pushing so hard, Kacchan?! You’re just my friend, so what does it matter who you talk to?”
“Because, we’re not just friends and you fucking know it! But you’re mad because I’ve never said anything about it! Admit it!”
“Okay, fine! Maybe I am mad! I have a right to be mad! But I’m not jealous of Ochako! I’m tired of being ignored!”
“Oh, ho!” Bakugou laughed in a taunting manner. “That’s right, blame it all on me, but this is a two-way street dumbass! Why didn’t you say something, huh?”
“And what should I have said, hmm, Kacchan?” The sarcasm oozed from Midoriya’s lips. “What if I told you I’ve been in love with you since we were kids, but I couldn’t say anything cause you treated me like shit all these years! Say something first?!” He scoffed. “Don’t you throw that in my face!”
“Tch! Oh, yeah?! I’ll throw something in your face alright!” Bakugou grabbed Midoriya’s face in his hands and slammed a kiss on the man’s lips rough enough to elicit a squeak, but passionate enough to cause the mouse to melt in an instant.
Todoroki leaned over to Kirishima in a whispered chuckle, “looks like we were both right.”
Kirishima chuckled too. “Those two sure take a confession to a whole new level.”
“I HEARD THAT!”
